Brothers and Sisters in Christ,
Please let us pray
Heavenly Father, we pray for those suffering from COVID 19 for which at present there is no cure. Give them the victory of trust and hope, that they may never lose their faith in your loving purpose. We pray for the healthcare providers who demonstrate great care and commitment as they go to work each day. We pray for all our parishioners at Holy Guardian Angels Church, our Diocese and members of the Anglican Catholic Church and all other Continuing Anglican Churches knowing that many of our members are aged and susceptible to the ravages of COVID 19. We pray for all who minister to them as we continue to pray for all world-wide. Grant your wisdom to all who are working to discover a vaccine for this disease and the realization that through You all things are possible. We ask in the Name of Him who went about doing good and healing all manner of disease. Through Jesus Christ Our Lord.

The Church of the Holy Guardian Angels has come a long way since our founding back in 1961, first starting as a tiny mission of St. Andrew’s Church in Lake Worth. We first met in a store on what is now Lantana road. In 1963 we moved to our present location on Cardinal Lane in Lantana utilizing a portable church building as our first Church. The Parish Hall and four classrooms were built in 1965 with the worship services continuing to be held in the portable church. After ten years as a mission, the Parish became self-supporting in 1971. Construction of the Parish Church began in 1979 and the first Mass was celebrated there on Lady Day in 1983.
It is often said that one of the most important aspects of any Church is the parish. Why? Because the parish impacts people’s lives. It is in the parish setting where we receive the Body and Blood of Christ, listen to the Word of God proclaimed, find forgiveness in the love God, share in communal support, and ways to give life to our faith.
The parish is a living, breathing entity because in it God interacts with His people. We hope that this will be your experience here at Holy Guardian Angels and that you will find warmth and hospitality within a spiritually and emotionally sustaining environment. As you become more acquainted with us, we hope that you will find an area in which to share time and talent with our parish family. Like any family, we function most effectively when all our members involve themselves in parish life. We welcome you to our parish family, the family of the Church of Holy Guardian Angels. We are happy that you chose to become a member of our Christian community. In the love of Christ,
Father Sandy. [su_subpages]
