There are many outreach ministries at Holy Guardian Angels Church
where you can put your faith into action by serving others.
Some of these ministries are “in-house” programs that originated and are housed entirely at Holy Guardian Angels Church, to help develop and to keep our property and to help our families in time of need. So many of our church family members here at Holy Guardian Angels’ support these efforts with volunteer hours or financial donations.
Some other of our efforts are aimed primarily at serving people outside our parish (traditional “outreach”) while others are aimed primarily at caring for fellow parishioners (traditional “in-reach“). But the common thread running through all these ministries is a response to Jesus’s call to love our neighbors as ourselves. We live this out in service to our neighbors both inside the parish and outside of it, to neighbors in our immediate, local community as well as neighbors in the Palm Beach Area communities and our neighbors across the world.
Currently, we are supporting the SHOEBOX CHRISTMAS PROJECT
http://seafarershouse.org/special-projects/shoebox-christmas
Each year volunteers and community members put together hundreds of shoeboxes full of toiletries and sundry items for seafarers who visit Port Everglades in November and December. These boxes are treasured by our seafarers, who often receive few tokens of appreciation and hospitality at sea.
GEAR AND GOODIES COLLECTION PROJECT
Thousands of seafarers from countries all over the world come through our doors annually, and we would like to send them home with an expression of our hospitality. Help us pack some “Gear and Goodies” for these hard-working crew members to use or take back to their children and families! Suggested items to include in one gallon Ziploc bags:

We hope that every member of Holy Guardian Angels’ and friends will engage in some kind of service-oriented ministry, whether within the parish or outside of it. (If you are currently engaged in a service-oriented ministry that we do not have listed here, we want to hear about it!
